About Us
The only veterinary behavioral clinic offering compassionate care across the Carolinas
We’re dedicated to rebuilding trust, easing fear and helping pets and their families thrive together
A Passion for Medical-Backed, Compassionate Care
With over 20 years of experience working with animals, including more than a decade in veterinary medicine, Dr. Adele Hilliard saw countless pets struggle with anxiety, aggression, and compulsive behaviors, often dismissed as "bad behavior."
To offer a more compassionate, science-backed solution, she founded Feeling Pawsitive Veterinary Behavior Solutions.
By addressing both medical and environmental factors, Dr. Hilliard has helped over 350 pets achieve lasting behavioral change. Her and her team now offer care in both North and South Carolina alongside lead veterinarian Dr. Jill Bradshaw, easing fear, restoring trust, and improving the lives of pets and their families.
"It’s about helping the feelings of dogs and cats."
Adelaide, Dr.Hilliard’s Nine Year Old Daughter
When I first shared my vision for this clinic, my daughter, Adelaide, simply said, “It’s about helping the feelings of dogs and cats.” Her words captured my mission beautifully and inspired the name Feeling Pawsitive Veterinary Behavior Solutions.
