April Kormanec RVT, KPA-CTP, LSHC
Registered Veterinary Technician
“By honoring both the emotional and physical needs of pets, we help clients build lasting trust, reduce fear, and cultivate environments that support lifelong well-being.”
With over 15 years of experience, April has a lifelong passion for the emotional well-being of animals.
She began her career in high-volume spay/neuter and emergency medicine, where she quickly saw the impact of fear and stress on patient care. Determined to make a difference, she became certified in Low-Stress Handling and focused her continuing education on animal behavior.
April was awarded a scholarship to the Karen Pryor Academy, where she strengthened her skills in positive reinforcement and behavior modification.
Now pursuing her Veterinary Technician Specialty (VTS) in Behavior, she works closely with pet owners and veterinary teams to support animals with empathy and expertise.
Outside the clinic, April enjoys the outdoors, traveling, and time with her adventurous dog, Binney.
